I loved this little girl when she was born, but I swear it just gets better and better. Something happened around month three and I am completely obsessed. I love feeling like she really recognizes Collin and I. She will stare at us for hours and perk up and smile when we smile at her or pick her up. I love her so much! She has been so good lately, and such a smiley baby. Her schedule is an adjustment right now since she was used to sleeping until 8am, and now she is up at 5:30am, so we get plenty of sleepy snuggles when I get home from work. She smiles the whole time in the mornings as I am changing her diaper and getting her dressed...makes it so hard to leave her!
At three months, Brooklyn:
- Eats 4 ounces every 3 hours. Like clockwork almost!
- Still loves her paci
- Sleeps all night :) This has been so nice!
- Loves sucking on her hands and recently, any toys go straight to the mouth
- Enjoys her activity mat and kick 'n play mat, but only in small doses
- Can easily hold her head up on her own
- Loves to be sitting up, whether propped up on the couch or I am holding her
- Spent most of the month with a terrible cough. She would have coughing fits throughout the night
- Startles so easily!
- Celebrated her first Valentine's Day!
I took her up to visit the Aviation guys I work with. Little private jet baby!
Always has to get a good stretch in the mornings!
Dad was trying to make her smile... ha!
Mindee sent me this when they were babysitting Brooke. Collin and I were able to get away for a little bit and we had a great time!
Don't worry. Brooke's got it covered!
A glimpse into teenage years when she won't move from the couch ;)
For my birthday, Collin made such a fancy meal! He is so thoughtful. This was also our first dinner "as a family". Brooke has never sat up there with us! It was so fun!
I had a pretty good view :) And B was just staring down the cake. Maybe she will have a sweet tooth like me!
She is just growing and changing every day and we can't seem to get enough of her!
