Brooke's 2nd Birthday Party

I was hesitant to have her party at Chuck E Cheese.. because its Chuck E Cheese, but a brand new one opened up by us and surely it couldn't be dirty and nasty yet! Well, it wasn't and her party was a blast! I could hardly keep an eye on her running from place to place.. all her friends had a blast.. and I didn't have to clean up! It was a WIN!

A big thank you to everyone who came and celebrated Brooke turning 2! She is one loved and spoiled little girl!!!

Notice here that Cole is driving and Eli is controlling the pedals! Haha!

2 Yr Old Appt

I think Brooke may be destined to be a doctor. She LOVES getting check ups! She sits so still when they are listening to her heart, takes deep breathes when they ask her to, opens her mouth and sicks her tongue out to check her throat.. she does it all and stays so interested the entire time! After her check up, her doctor gave her one of the popsicle looking sticks and she was instructing ME to open my mouth so she could check my throat!

She did such a good job, until it was time for shots. Shes never been able to handle those but who can really blame her? Shots stink!

She is talking more and more lately and surprises us everyday with a new phrase. She can sometimes count to 3 or 4. She knows blue, green, orange, and yellow. She knows a few letters of the alphabet...like every once in a while she will walk around saying QRS. School has definitely been good for her and we feel like she's learned so much!

Two has also come with its fair share of fits. I'm hoping this is short lived and she gets passed this asap!! I have no patience for two years throwing themselves on the ground!

At 2 years old, Brooke was 35.25" (83%), 26.2 lbs (61%), and HC was 19" (78%)

We are so blessed to be your parents sweet girl!! Two years have FLOWN by and I know the next two will go even faster. That is a terrifying thought but watching you grow has been more than I could have imagined. We love you so much little Brookie!!!

Halloween 2016

Here's a peek into our Halloween this year. Brooke was so fun and just as cute as can be!

She quickly learned that saying trick or treat meant you got candy and she was all about it! She ran from house to house as fast as she could with her pumpkin bucket full of candy weighing her down. By the end of it she was practially running around with her eyes closed. She was so exhausted but not ready to quit! We finally called it quits and I think she had just as much fun passing out candy to the trick or treaters. She would put the candy in their buckets and say "you're welcome!!".

This year she was a little 80s jazzerciser. So precious!! :)

and a flashback to last year because where has the time gone?!?!
