Nine Months

At nine months we have a brand new baby! She has started crawling, pulling up, and finally has a tooth working its way through! 

Brooke continues to be super silly and happy. Her favorite things are being as loud as possible at restaurants, making funny faces, standing up while holding on to the furniture, waving at EVERYONE, and daddy coming home from work. She gets so excited and yells so loud! :)

At her nine month check up, she weighed 18 lbs 14 oz (64%) and was 28 3/4 inches (90%). She cried as loud as she possibly could for .2 seconds after her shots, and then was all smiles again!

She makes us laugh every single day. We could not imagine this life without her!

Yep. She still loves her paci. She dug it out of her diaper bag at her appointment!

It cracks me up to see a little baby head poking up over the table when she's working on pulling up!

Getting ready in the mornings has sure changed now!

Using Savannah to pull herself up. Savannah was a good sport even though Brooke mainly used her hair to pull up!

Being contained for monthly pictures is NOT fun anymore!!

But then we finally got some good ones! :)

This weekend is Brooklyn's baby dedication at church. We are so excited for family coming in town and a fun weekend ahead!

Mexico!

Collin and I just got back from such a fun trip to Cancun, Mexico! We went for one of Collin's best friends wedding. We stayed at Secrets Maroma Beach and it was gorgeous! It was also nice to spend some time with Collin away from the real world. That's always a good refresher!

The bride requested all the wedding guests to wear white. It turned out so nice!!

Miami Vice, anyone?!

This was so fun! For lunch one day, about 30 chefs started walking around all over the pool with trays filled with different foods. There were chefs canoeing in the pools with mini cheeseburgers!

Looking at these pictures has me wanting to plan our next vacation already!! We had such a fun, fun time!!!

Eight Months

Here we are at 8 months!

 Our little Brooke has become so active and LOUD! She is non stop blabbering. She says mama, dada, baba, and whatever other combination you can put together. It's not necessarily directed at anything or anyone, but she says it all, only because she never stops talking! She has also started clicking her tongue and thinks that is pretty funny!

She still refuses to crawl! She is much more interested in standing while holding on to the couch or table. She loves it when we hold her hands and let her "walk". 

We haven't found a food she refuses to eat and she gets so excited anytime she sees us making a bottle. Puffs and other snacks will keep her busy for a while!

She is getting more and more aware of her surroundings every day. She will cry when either Collin or I leave the room and smile whenever we come back. Along with that she has started to get upset if we take something away from her (like my phone) that she shouldn't have. Drama! 

She is so silly and constantly making us laugh. We love you so much, Brooklyn!

Her first time swinging and she loved it! She thought it was hilarious every time she swung close to me. So far she has no fear! She loves it when we throw (more like lift) her in the air or hold her upside down!

She was playing with her stool and the next thing I know...

 she pulled herself right up!

Another month will be here before we know it! We are soaking it all up and absolutely loving every minute!
