Vegas!

A couple weekends ago we made a girl's trip to Vegas to celebrate Katie's 30th Birthday! We had such a good time. Girl's trips like this need to happen more often!

We were met at the airport with a limo ride to the hotel. No better way to start off Vegas!!

Four Months

Our sweet girl is 4 months already. Since I've been back at work, time has really flown by. I've been thinking up this post in my head for a while now.. and its a hard one. I want to jot down all the things Brooklyn does now, but for the most part, she just naps when I get home from work, wakes up for a bedtime bottle, and is then down for the night. Everyone told me going back to work would get easier, but its actually gotten much harder for me. I miss her so much during the day... but I know the time will come that I will get to spend my days with her as she grows and learns new things. I am so fortunate to get pictures throughout the day and have family loving on her while I'm away! 

Yesterday was her 4 month appointment. She did great for the doctor, but completely lost it when it was time for shots. She weighed 13 lbs 8 oz (34%), 25 1/4" length (82%), and 16 1/2" head (87%). Her sleeping has regressed a little since we transitioned her into her crib. She wakes up hungry every morning between 4-5am. Luckily she sucks down a bottle super fast and goes right back to sleep. She rolls from stomach to back, although lately her tummy time consist of her trying to get up into crawling position! Everyday just gets better and better with her. We still look at her and can't believe she is OURS. We are so blessed!

Collin's parents came to town a couple weeks ago. Brooke had her first sleep over with Nana and Poppa!

Crazy Weather! (and other randoms)

This crazy weather has kept us snowed(iced) in quite a few days! It's nice for a little while, and then I think we all get a little stir crazy. This was a Tuesday morning.. these two slept in instead of waking up early for work!

 and B got to whip out her cute winter hat!

We got to catch one of Cameron's basketball games. She is so fun to watch!! She's very competitive and such a little athlete. Fits right in with this family!! :) This picture is blurry, but look at her go!

Brooke was cheering her on! She watched the girls run back and fourth the whole time.

We got a little antsy and set up Brooke's jumper toy.  Her little toes BARELY touch the ground, but she really loves it! Shes mesmorized by all the colors and sounds. I think she will spend a lot of time in this thing once she gets a little stronger. (Don't let her face fool you... She really did like it!)

A couple weeks ago, B broke out in an all over rash. She was at Kasey's, and Brennon & Paula went over there to check her out. They gave her an oatmeal bath, and then Kasey met me at the doctors office.. Turns out the rash was just the after math of a viral infection, but the poor girl had a double ear infection!!

And lately, Brooklyn has found her voice and it's the absolute cutest thing!! She will coo and babble non-stop! She has also become even more smiley and is loving her tongue. Most smiling pictures

lately includes her sticking her tongue out! If I stick my tongue out at her, she will stick hers out back or try to grab mine!
