19 Weeks

 

How far along: 19 Weeks!

Baby Size: A mango{6.0 inches, 8.5 oz}

Maternity clothes: Still making do with what I have. Definitely using the belly bands though!

Sleep: Pretty good minus a little lower back pain.. already.

 

Gender: GIRL! and while trying to figure out a middle name for her... haha!

Movement: Yep! I LOVE feeling her move around! I can’t wait for it to get stronger and happen more often.

Looking forward to: Spending the weekend with family in Amarillo.

Food cravings: There’s nothing that I feel like I need or want every day… but orange juice has come pretty close lately.

  Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope

  

What I miss: I already miss my clothes fitting normal. I have a long ways to go!

Symptoms: Headaches, always. My belly has DEFINITELY grown the past few days too.

Wedding rings on or off? On

Mood: Constant mixed emotions, but very excited to meet our little girl.

Best moment this week: Setting up the crib in the nursery. It’s so fun to see it waiting for her in her room. 

It's a GIRL!

How far along: 18 Weeks!

Baby Size: A sweet potato {5.6 inches, 6.7 oz}

Maternity clothes: Not yet… but I do plan on going shopping for some when we can find some time!!

Sleep: Sleeping great!

 

Gender: Baby Gillaspie is a GIRL! We think ;) The doctor had to fight the umbilical cord to get a quick glance.. but I am pretty certain he is right!

Movement: Yes! Been feeling some little wiggles and kicks lately… mostly at night.

Looking forward to: Starting our sweet girl’s nursery. Where do I even start?!

Food cravings: Still nothing in particular.

  Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope!

  

What I miss: I will definitely miss a cold beverage by the pool for Joni’s bachelorette party this weekend! ;) But it’s all worth it!!

Symptoms: Still headaches. I’m not seeing this one ever going away.

Mood: A little overwhelmed. Now that we know we are having a girl, I feel like we need to get going on everything!

Best moment this week: Our gender reveal party last weekend. It was so amazing how many people came and already love little Brooklyn! :) And I have the best family in the world for helping out SO much with the party!

 

 We can't forget that time our last name was spelled wrong on the banner ;) haha!

17 Weeks

 

Disclaimer: It was EARLY in this picture; hence why I still look half asleep.

How far along: 17 Weeks!

Baby Size: An onion {5.1 inches, 5.9 oz}

Maternity clothes: Still holding out on this. Won’t be long though!

Sleep: Sleeping great!

 

Gender: We find out TOMORROW!!! My final guess is a girl. Collin’s final guess is boy - based on all the old wives tales!

Movement: Sometimes when I’m lying in bed before going to sleep, I think I can feel some movement… but it’s probably just wishful thinking.

Looking forward to: Our appointment tomorrow and the gender reveal party on Saturday!! It’s all that’s on my mind!!!

Food cravings: Still nothing in particular.

  Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope! This sweet little baby has been going easy on me :)

  

What I miss: Nothing really. Just enjoying being pregnant!

Symptoms: Still headaches... and a growing belly ;)
